We architect the narrative and infrastructure required to ensure postsecondary enrollment translates into high-alpha professional outcomes.

  • I. Admissions Strategy & Narrative Underwriting

Applying the analytical rigor of asset management to the collegiate trajectory. We engineer high-contrast candidate profiles for postsecondary placement, ensuring alignment between the student narrative and institutional priorities.

II. Performance Architecture & Professional Infrastructure

Building the strategic roadmap for undergraduates to secure “target" internships and elite-tier career outcomes. We treat the four-year degree as an investment, auditing every academic move for its long-term professional value.

    III. Institutional & Organizational Advisory

Beyond the collegiate trajectory, we provide principal-level oversight for organizational governance and strategic growth. We provide narrative alignment for new ventures and non-profit systems at the intersection of social impact and commercial innovation.

  • Cynthia Solis Yi is a strategic advisor with a career rooted in institutional finance and non-profit leadership. With the management and founding of multiple specialized ventures, she brings a disciplined, high-alpha lens to the trajectory of the modern student.

Prior to founding Metropolitan & Peninsula, Cynthia served as a Governing Board Trustee for the Las Lomitas Elementary School District in Silicon Valley, where she navigated the complex governance of one of the nation’s premier educational ecosystems. Her professional background spans leadership roles in investment banking in New York and consumer goods in the San Francisco Bay Area. With the founding of multiple entrepreneurial ventures on both coasts her contribution is defined by a commitment to the ability to identify, scale, and communicate unique differentiated value.

Cynthia holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business with specializations in Strategy and Innovation, alongside an Advanced Certificate in College Advising from Columbia University Teachers College. She is a grateful supporter of NYC public high schools and a proud alumna of The Bronx High School of Science. She was based in Silicon Valley for over a decade and returned to New York City after the pandemic. This dual-coast perspective allows her to bridge the traditional establishment of New York City with the disruptive innovation engine of the Bay Area Peninsula.

As a performance architect, she provides the professional infrastructure necessary for students to gain postsecondary placements focused on the appropriate fit, ensuring that academic pursuits are aligned with goals that translate into a high-value professional signature.
